eLearning workshops and events

The Teaching Support Centre hosts a variety of eLearning Workshops and learning opportunities throughout the year. Registration is through the Teaching Support Centre website

Descriptions of our programming can be found under eLearning Workshops and Support.

The Western Network for Digital Education and Research is comprised of researchers, staff, graduate students, and librarians who seek to better understand the impacts of new technologies upon education.

WALS Community of Practice

The WALS Community of Practice is made up of instructors who ether teach or are interested in teaching in WALS. The monthly Community of Practice meetings focus on peer-to-peer sharing of pedagogical issues and are intended to create a safe space for co-mentorship among faculty interested in active learning spaces.  These meetings take different formats and can include sharing innovations and activities, demonstrations of active learning activities, and discussing pedagogical practices in WALS.
